 Bill Solheim's latest monograph presents
the archaeological material of his excavations in Masbate at the Kalanay
Cave site and a study of the collection of Dr. Carl E. Guthe of the
Universty of Michigan expedition to the Philippines in 1922-25. It is a
revised edition of his first publication of 1964 with significant additions of new
data and new research. It contains 259 pages of text with 42 tables and 50
plates. The Archaeology of the Philippines was published by the University of the
Philippines in 2002 and is available
by ordering directly from Dr. Solheim, for orders from outside the
Philippines*, and for orders to be paid in Pesos by students and academics
in the Philippines from the Archaeological Studies Program.
